The Therapeutic Journey

Therapy is a true journey. At times, therapy will challenge you, it can make you laugh or cry, or it can be focused on skill-building and much more. My approach is carefully and thoughtfully tailored in hopes to best fit the needs of each individual. I enjoy spending time learning about what brought a person to therapy, and what they are hoping to gain from the experience.

The most important part of the therapeutic journey is that it feels like it is your journey. With that, I invite and encourage continuous feedback and input of what the experience is like for you. In our sessions, we both steer the direction of the conversation. I blend together a person's expertise on themselves with my expertise in the field. My goal is to work as a team to develop coping skills, enhance problem-solving abilities, and create a future that is more in line with your values.

I enjoy assisting people with discovering passions, highlighting strengths, heightening motivation, and achieving overall self acceptance. I want everyone to leave my sessions feeling they deserve to be seen, heard, loved, understood, accepted, and celebrated.
